Solar thermal

Solar heating systems use free heat from the sun and the system works all year round. Sunlight is free, so once you've paid for the initial installation your energy costs will be much lower. Solar is a green, renewable energy and can reduce your carbon dioxide emissions.

Solar water heating systems use solar panels, called collectors, fitted to your roof or placed on the ground. These collect heat from the sun and use it to heat up water which is stored in a hot water cylinder or thermal store. The heated water can be used to supply you with hot water and can also contribute to heating your home.

Solar panels can either be flat plates or evacuated tubes, we will discuss your requirements and advise which is best for you. Panels can be installed on pitched or flat roofs or mounted on frames.
